When you say "snaps at you a lot", did that happen alot in one time you were together? or does it happen often? Either way, if that person truly is a friend - talk to them when they are calm and let them know how you feel. "When you do ______, it makes me feel ________." Tell them that you won't stick around if it keeps happening and let them do what they need to do. Don't be a "punching bag".... follow through if they continue to snap at you.

Why don't you see if there is something going on in her life that is making her stressed out - maybe there are problems at home she is having a hard time handling and what she really needs is someone to be patient and listen to her problems, instead of a fair weather friend who will ditch her as soon as something bad happens.

It depends on how good of a friend they are to you if you just started hanging around her/him then hell yeah ditch them you dont need people like that in your life. If this persons been around for a while then the next time they start to snap at you that second you need to confront them on that. I have a friend just like that and i told her that she needs to decide wether or not she's my friend.REAL friends dont treat friends like that. Its all on you how long are you going to let her/him be like that to you?

i would first find out why he/she is always snapping at you for. maybe its a problem they are having at home and s/he is taking it out on you. but if it is because of you then i'd ditch them. if not try to help them out if you can. they stick around.

Is it for no apparent reason to you? Do you get the feeling shes just being unfair? If you know she means it in a b*tchy way then you might as well ditch her because friends like that never last.

Ditch them! Or learn the hard way. I had a friend many years ago that always put me down, hit me and kicked me, for no real reason. I would just laugh it off, but now I realize it was dumb to put up with it, and her "ways of thinking" got me pulled into allot of crap i didn't have to endure. I am however a much smarter and stronger person, for many of the things she taught me, but there is no reason to be abused to figure out your own strengths and weaknesses. Get out now, just casually stop returning her calls, or always have something else to do...she will eventually stop trying, and unfortunately find some one else to take out her problems on....good luck my dear!!!!!

There would be no way that i would have a friend that couldn't show the same respect given towards them.I would come right out and address the issue of your friends actions towards you and if your friend becomes more hateful, then i would have to let them know right then and there, that there is no more reason to be hanging out with them, that you think and care way to much for yourself to be treated in such a manner by them or anyone.Stand up for yourself, cause no one else will.Good Luck!

Just ditch them. You don't need a friend who's going to get you down everytime you're with them. They're not worth it!

First I would have to tell them if they can't step to me with Little more respect then that then they can get to step'in in the other direction and not look back give them the choose to shape up or ship out. Don't take no crap from any one let them know you deserve as much respect as they do
