I'm in Arizona. The reason we are having so many fires is because we are in a major drought. The second reason is that many environmentalists fought the thinning of the forest that they wanted to do to avoid a disasterous fire. Since they didn't do that, nature is doing it for them.
They do say that Global Warming may have an effect on the hurricanes though.

I'm in Pittsburgh, Pa. It's currently 73 degrees Fahrenheit, and a thunderstorm that just passed by about 15-20 minutes ago. It's prematurely dark and gloomy.
I love thunderstorms. : )
Overall, it's been really hot and humid; I think a bit more so than usual. Thunderstorms at night are a bit more common than usual, too.
That's all I've got.

Global Warming seems to be the main factor, as with it, many natural cycles are being messed up. I wish somebody actually cared enough about this thing :(

Generally quiet...... for now.
I expect a MUCH more active time of it this weekend/early next week.
-combo. of a strong cold fron diving SE, and a tropical disturbance/uppler-low.- (We`ll have to watch it for some SLOW, GRADUAL development.
Global Warming?
--Its 11:45 P.M....... lets not get into that right now, LOL!
