I was wondering if the is anyone who lives in the RI/MA area that could refer me to a make-up artist for my wedding. I would like someone that has experience working with African-Amercican women's skin tones.

i dont live in that area, but MAC has great cosmetics for women (of color). I'm black as well, and the make-up artists really have an eye for color, whether you're black or white. there are usually make-up artists you can book for special occasions at the store. check out the website for more info.

I don't live near you but I think you should try cover girl queen latifia's new collection for women of color that will help you look natural and radiant for your special day

Queen latifah just brought out a new make-up line for colored women. I am not colored but i have seen it in stores and it is really pretty! Good luck!

Go to http://www.marykay.com and enter your zip code to find a Consultant in your area. They'll do your makeup for free. For the actual day of your wedding, she might charge a small fee, but it will be worth it.
