Most of the 300+ games on Yahoo! Games are free (or have free trials) and can be played just in a webpage, with no chat, or as downloads direct to your computer.
You can also turn off the chat in our multiplayer games, but I'd suggest checking out the free Web games first.

Try pogo.com or games on yahoo games. I like them both. On pogo you can even block the chat.
