personally i ask them just to hear funny answers.there are some quick witted people in here and i think thats a sign of intelligence.

so that people can ask other stupid questions like "y ask stupid questions?" and then say no offince(misspelled). when they should not have used the word stupid if they did not want to offend anyone

what you consider stupid isn't what others consider stupid. For instance this is a really stupid question, in my opinion. Another reason may be that they just want to have fun and joke around. Now my question would be, why answer stupid questions...Oh sh**.
