It takes me less than an hour or so usually for a 200 page book and I can't understand it just fine.

There's speed readers out there that can read and comprehend in a lot faster than that... that's a Guinness World Book of Records type of deal.

I just read quickly enough to still enjoy it, not like its some circus show.

firstly...
you could "read" it without even turning the pages.

but if you want to read and understand it
I'd say, depending on the subject
size of pages
and the size of the text,
anywhere from an hour to ten!
one would need much more information to answer that question.

I can read a two hundred page book in a little under an hour and a half. assuming you give me a book like Matilda.

happy reading.

I took a speed reading course. can read & understand 200 pages in maybe 2 hours max, depending on how small or big the writing is.

personally i could probably read it in about 30 mins, i have had an extremely high reading age since i was a kid and i still read like ALL the time. However, i prefer to read at a more leisurely pace, as you absorb the story more

It depends -- how many pictures or .illustrations are there?
What is the size of the print? How big are the pages?
Is it a book for children? Is it a textbook?

For me, as little as a couple of hours. Depends on whether the book is of any interest to me.

I can do it in an hour. LOVE to read, my favorite past-time. Oh, and I am normal, nor did I take speed-reading. The more you read, just as in the more you practice....the better you get.
