It's been rumored that IRS use eBay to get data on avg selling prices for "old" stuff like desktop computers from 1993 to 2000.

And you can use the resources there or subscribe for a one time use of the eBay Market Research. This will give you the data for very specific items like desktop computer from those dates.

about $ 10.00 dollars if you can find a recycler that wants the gold contacts, better to donate to a prison, I know , I have a old COMPAQ 600 mhz .............its sad but true.
