I can't get the foot on my sewing machine

Look at where the presser foot goes. You'll see a screw on the left hand side.

Unscrew the screw. Take it out.
Next, slide the foot onto the bar behind the needle.
With your right hand, hold the foot in place. With your left hand, place the screw in the slot, that is at the top of the foot.
Screw the screw back in. This will hold the zipper foot or presser fit in place.

I've been sewing for many years.
It's really easy.

Good luck!

On the side of the pressure plunger there is a thumb screw. Turn that counterclockwise to loosen and the foot should rotate out, and the opposite to put one on. Make sure your thumbscrew is loosened. Turn the foot counterclockwise about 45 degrees and put the foot over the set screw and tighten the screw(clockwise). Any problems, seek out a sewing shop and have a salesperson show you.
