Home was located in Atlanta, GA until approx. 1985. Did you live there in the 1960s? I would love to hear your story. My brother and I were residents from 1967 - 1968 (approx. 1 1/2 years).

I'm not American. I'm not Christian, but I was once, as a child. I was born 1982, so I never got to experience the 60's, but I'm told they were awesome. I've never lived in a childrens home, but I know someone who spent their entire life moving from home to home as an orphan after both parents died at his birth. He tells stories about the pain, fear and disconnected feelings he felt, going through life as a victim of every non-lethal crime known to mankind - rape, torture, disabling punishment, contagious disease. He hangs onto life with a thread, and every day is a blessed gift from God, every moment is Holy, and every relationship is precious. He could die at any minute, and his acceptance of that fact has made him free. But we don't have to go through hell and back to appreciate the eternal moment of now. "The Power Of Now," by Eckhart Tolle, is an inspired work by a gifted writer who also went through hell to realise he didn't have to go through hell to realise the truth that every day is a gift from God, every moment is Holy, and every relationship is precious.
Blessed Be!
