England does not lick the USA's butt, and they dont lick ours. But we do need each other and I think its a fine realtionship. Do people really think that Tony and George control everything???
They have to have everything approved by votes and meetings, and lots of people who make decisions we never see or never know of. By the sounds of things too many people live blinkered lives and believe everything they read or see on TV.

Its good we stick together - against the evil that is out there - the terrorists who think living in the world where men are no.1 and the women do exactly what they get told, cover themselves up, think its ok to bomb innocent people.....i'm not gonna go on but you know what I am getting at.

Given the right USA butt - Sarah Michelle Gellers for one - I would lick it.

I'm English and I certainly won't be Butt licking ANY Americans thank you very much! I don't think England should be as pally with America as it is, England is becoming the United States of Englandshire, and it's about time we English stood up for ourselves!

I was not ever aware that we were. I have never been anti- American, and I personally think that during the 80s, President Reagan and Margaret Thatcher's friendship was the one thing that put the fear of God up the Ruskies, and made them realise that the West will not kow-tow to threats from the communist world. Bush and Blair just do not cut the mustard like Ronnie and Maggie did.
