The vast majority of scientists agree that global warming is real, it’s already happening and that it is the result of our activities and not a natural occurrence. The evidence is overwhelming and undeniable.

We’re already seeing changes. Glaciers are melting, plants and animals are being forced from their habitat, and the number of severe storms and droughts is increasing.
The number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has almost doubled in the last 30 years.
Malaria has spread to higher altitudes in places like the Colombian Andes, 7,000 feet above sea level.
The flow of ice from glaciers in Greenland has more than doubled over the past decade.
At least 279 species of plants and animals are already responding to global warming, moving closer to the poles.

If the warming continues, we can expect catastrophic consequences.
Deaths from global warming will double in just 25 years -- to 300,000 people a year.
Global sea levels could rise by more than 20 feet with the loss of shelf ice in Greenland and
Antarctica, devastating coastal areas worldwide.
Heat waves will be more frequent and more intense.
Droughts and wildfires will occur more often.
The Arctic Ocean could be ice free in summer by 2050.
More than a million species worldwide could be driven to extinction by 2050.

There is no doubt we can solve this problem. In fact, we have a moral obligation to do so. Small changes to your daily routine can add up to big differences in helping to stop global warming. The time to come together to solve this problem is now – TAKE ACTION

I make a conscious choice to abstain from voting. (A) I disbelieve in te American political system. (B) Neither of the major political parties are worth a darn. Both believe in big government (the Republicans via fascism and moral legislation and the Democrats via repugnant socialist policies). Intelligent and reasonable parties, such as the Libertarians, have no chance of winning. I will not support a system in which I disbelieve. The only reason I pay taxes is because the IRS has all the guns on its side. And as long as they do I have no choice but to be an unwilling participant in certain things (such as taxes, which I pay, but involuntarily).

Not for a million bucks. He's one of the worst presidents in our History and has absolutely no respect for the Constitution, which he swore to uphold and defend.

He also is responsible for making the world a more dangerous place. North Korea is testing long-range missiles and claims it needs them to "defend against the possibility of a US invasion". With Bush's desire to go in to countries that are NOT a threat to us (such as Iraq) he is angering those who potentially could be, making them more likely to do something horrible.

I never voted for him (voted Libertarian both times) and never will. I wish our Congressmen would impeach him AND Cheney.

We need someone in the White House who is worthy of the job!

Without question - YES! The Bush Administration is not in the business of Public Relations and does not expend any time or energy, as the Clintons did tirelessly, in defending itself or making endless public appearances by administration officials and cabinet secretaries who feel desperate to go out and defend administration policies - that's all Clinton's people did - they were nearly co-hosts of Larry King Lifeless and Softtosses with Chris Matthews...

Did the first time, didn't the second (screw that prescription drug benefit for the Greedy Geezers so that they can live longer and suck more money off the Social Security system), wouldn't again.

never did, never would.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't vote for a Republican (even tho I'm a Dem). McCain got my vote last time.
