Use a keylogger. It's a program that stays hidden and generates a log of all the key presses on your computer. There are several free ones you can use, though they aren't as user friendly usually as the cost based ones. I included a link to a free one below. Good Luck!

Password... Gets me every time... Also... with messenger, you can archive the IMs so that you can veiw them later... There are also programs which you can get to limit the time your kids spend on the puter... And there are alot of things that are free that can let you monitor what happens on the computer... There is also a way to remote access your computer... but you have to know what you are doing... If you do know, than you can set that up and just kinda glance at what they are doing or you could really mess with them and make random little things happen...

I have msn and heres how you find out what your kids are saying:
go on your kid's msn (try to somehow sneek on lol)
go to tools:
options:
on the left side there should be tabs...find: messages
find where it says: message history and checkmark: Always keep a history of my conversations.
click browse and choose where you want the convos to be saved....(makes sure it is easily accesesed)
and thats all...hope theres nothing bad to read =P
PS I just checked....you can do the same on yahoo (kinda) but instead of tools click messenger and then preferences...and instead of messages click: archives =P

look up "sspro" on your search engine. You'll find the site. It's a spyware that is undetectable by your kids, and logs everything including passwords, chat logs, screen pics. It's free for 7 days, and then it's $29.95 to buy it.

Get Cyber Patrol or another 3rd party application. Costs about 30/year and can log the conversations and filter for you.

The keylogger is the best option for you. Just remember, If you look for something you do not want to see, expect something you do not want to know. Everyone deseveres their pricacy, or didn't you when you were their age?
