i think it is totally awsome but what do you think?

I thought that the little girl dragged down the action. At one point, the aliens catch her, and I thought "Oh Boy! Now we can get some action going on here without her stupid short legs making it impossible for them to run fast!" but ten seconds later, Cruise was caught as well.
I will say that it was cooler than the original, as far as effects and things like that are concerned.

The movie was great but not because of the grossly overrated Cruise but because of That beautiful little Dakota Fanning. That kid is a prodigy

We just watched that movie last night. I could not stay awake... It was so fake and unbelievable!!! I liked the story line of the family dynamics, but other than that, I think it was a waste of money!! My husband, on the other hand, loved it!! To each his own, I guess...

I thought it sucked, and not a patch on the original one.
If you haven't seen it, rent it, or try to catch it on TV, without the commercials of course.
