Well, "Blockbuster" signifies lotsa money. That would be Pirates 2.
Superman is going to be like King Kong: High expectations, low turnout.
Harry Potter will make a couple of bucks, but that franchise is in slow decline.
I'm rooting for Snakes on a Plane, but it's not going to make Pirates money. That has the whole chick audience from Titanic paying to see it multiple times. Nothing will be able to touch it, financially.

Superman and Pirates, all the way, with Pirates hopefully overcoming the Man of Steel. The Lakehouse will be a silent guy, hanging in the top ten for a while, keeping a constant crowd and repeat fanbase. Pirates will do better because it comes out AFTER 4th of July, and more people watch movies in July and August as the heat outside increases.

Superman Returns is going to absolutely hammer the living horsesh** out of every other movie this summer. It may even unseat Titanic, although only time will tell.

If the critics are right, for a change, it will be "Superman Returns"
But we will just have to wait and see. The release was last night, so we will know by Monday.
