It definitely seems like that....never thought about it until today but I can definitely see it NOW.
It's too bad that someone would be so incredibly blind AND dense as to enjoy such a thing.

That's an obvious yes. However, I think if we were restricted to face-to-face interaction (take the phones and internet completely away) making fools out of others might be less of a trend. As it is, the internet fosters this behavior and cell phone culture lets it thrive. Not hearing the hurt in someone's voice or watching the tears roll down someone's cheek allows people to act like jerks in an almost risk-free environment (there are still hackers that will flame an opponent). It still happens in schools...always has happened in schools.
Belittling someone levels out the perceived relationship between the taunted and person taunting...that is unless the person that has been hurt takes the comments seriously and believes in them. Then, the victim will lower themselves more, until they perceive that they are below their enemy and their self-esteem suffers.
People enjoy making fools out of others because it gives them attention that they crave (approval or disapproval), makes them feel equal or superior in one or more ways, and they will not stop antagonizing, typically, until the person stops responding to them.

I dont know but I like making a fool out of myself. Have you ever laughed at yourself when you looked like a fool? I mean, one of the most important things in life is to be able to laugh at yourself. But I think a reason why some people enjoy putting others down is because it draws an audience. However if you don't let this person bother you, they will most likely stop nagging you all the time because it will get rather boring.

Well I am not sure that they just enjoy but more like it makes them feel better. Don't get to shocked OK but some people in life are not happy with their selves and need to downgrade or make fun of others to make them feel good. If they take the focus off of them and try to get everyone to see someone else then they don't have to dread waking up being themselves everyday. The sad part is that if people would spend as much time working on their own stuff and issues instead of poking fun or trying to taunt and tease others they would be better people. Lots of times they were the one that got picked on before and it makes them feel more powerful now.

Yes some wierd insecure people like that. Just be willing to be a fool and they can't get you. They are the real fools and will prove it. Let them dig their own pits and fall into them.

I find that most people that go around doing that actually are trying to make up for their own inadequacies. Makes them feel powerful.
