I think the best female artist is Tina Turner because of her talent, she can sing, write and arrange the material, I was thinking of whitney Houston but I don't believe she writes, Mariah carey is great singer but she didn't have strong direction of her songs in the past. The best male is Freddie Mercury from Queen (no qustions asked) because he created entire Queen music and was loved by millions. The worst female artist vote is much easier because is so many of them - here I would say Ciara - she left her boyfriend and put down her entire friendships in order to be famous - when you're that cold-blooded you COULDN'T be good artist! Otherwise the worst male would be Timberlake, I still don't get him.

I think the best female artist would be Jessica Simpson because she is funny and really pretty. And for male i would say Johnny Depp because he is rally talented and good looking. the worst female would probobly be Ashlee Simpson and for a male would be jack black.

Elton John has brought more music to the masses, to the movies,(Lion King, Friends, etc) to the theatre and radio for the past 37 years than I can count! He has an undying passion for music and tells it in his songs. As for the worst, what is the deal with Kid Rock? Is he kidding? Did he ever study music or did he just get up and pretend to make music like a spoiled child at a party?

best male artist- ashley parker angel because he's hott and he writes all of his music
best female artist- i really don't know- i listen to mostly male artists
worst male artist- james blunt because he sucks and his voice is annoying and his lyrics are gay
worst female artist-madonna because she was so desperate to get back on the music scene that she got a poor sap like britney spears to make out with her on live television

best female artist without a doubt is Mariah Carey. she has managed to survive in the music industry despite all the drama she went through. i think the worst is Brandy she always trys to make a comeback but it never quite works out plus her vocal abilities are not that great.

worst female-Madonna(i think that's how you spell it) she was OK in the old days but now shes like 40 and dancing around in a leotard trying to be cool again.
worst male- i hate James Blunt because he cant sing at all and overall sucks
