Anybody knows where is the transmission dipstick located on the 2005 V6 4runner?

Some late model vehicles are being manufactured without auto trans dipsticks and they have a level plug like a manual trans. Check your handbook or with the manufacturer. Jules, Automotive lecturer. Australia.

If it's an Auto it's pink or yellow colored and on the right side of the vehicle near the firewall in the engine compartment. If it's a manual transmission it doesn't have one.

transmission is under the dipstick, the dipstick is in the drivers seat
