Is your dog a female? Is it possible if she is "in heat" or pregnant.
Has there been a death in your family? Has your pet been though a tough time with health?
Is it really hot and is your pet thirsty? Is your pet getting enough water to drink?.
A ride in the car or truck, taking your dog for a walk, or giving her a special treat, or letting him/her play with other dogs will make you pet feel less depressed.
Have you hugged your pet and told your dog that you love him/her of that she is a good /girl or boy. Praise works miracles even in animals.
If your pet is still down and in a slump take your dog to to vet and see if their is anything wrong

Probably sick. Take him to the vet.
