That really depends on who the Rs field for a candidate... if a milktoast candidate (however great he may otherwise be) like Bob Dole is nominated.... then we lose (of course that also depends on how weak the opposition is)

Hopefully a person that is neither too far left nor too far right. We need a moderate no mater liberal or conservative. A moderate would balance the budget, clean up Iraq, and fight for education and health care.
