Lions running back for those who do not know

I think jones will be a break out rb. under martz he will be faulk like. new qb new system running coach = good year for jones i think calhoun in the third round was a steal

I think Kevin Jones is talented and has potential, but with Mike Martz running the offense, I think the biggest impact Jones will make is if he happens to get in a car accident. Unless Marinelli forces Martz to use the running game, he's gonna be screwed, just like Steven Jackson was.

If Mike Martz lets the run game stay intact or does something to address that area, then Kevin Jones can have a break-out year. He should do well against two other NFC North contenders (GB and Minnesota; Chicago's defense can stifle him). I predict 1250 yards minimum for Jones this year.

A running back is only as good as his passing game.
Roy and Mike Williams will be two of the best.
Kitna is the only question mark but I think he will be fine.
The addition of Rick Demulling from the Colts will shore up the offensive line as well.
KJ will be good for 1500 and 10 barring injury.

He can. He shows flashes of being a solid back but he has nothing around him. He is also a little undersized. If he was on a better team he would be much better off.

He needs to make sure that Howard Stern blocks well for him at the line of scrimmage. If that happens - he will have a 1,000 yard season EASY.
