And not too cold in the winter

If you're just interested in cool-summer climates, you could do well by living either at high altitude, e.g. Colorado, high latitude, e.g. Alaska, or on the NW coastline of Oregon or Washington. If you don't want hot summers and also aren't into cold winters then you'll be stuck with the NW coast, western Oregon and Washington, or northern California. Now remember, you didn't say anything about RAIN; all of those places have summer dry/winter rain precipitation regimes so you may be giving up cold for wet!

I hear that Bermuda and Hawaii stay pretty temperate all year round. I was going to answer Northern Michigan, because it stays pretty nice all summer there. But the winters are radical. You would really have to love the snow and cold.

I think Oregon is supposed to have pretty decent temps year round. At least I have heard that. I live in the south(Tennessee) and it is so hot and humid here! UGH!
