I just had the network card replaced and now this key won't work. Could it be related? How do I fix it?

It is most likely a problem with the contact under the actual key. Get a small screwdriver, and pry it off and do some cleaning. Most people don't do this, but the simple maintenance of a computer can go a long way.

Oh...and the network card has absolutely nothing to do with the key not working.

probably a problem with the actual button on the keyboard not your computer
