I like fairy tales but my friend calls me a baby. Am I?

i luvvvvvvv fairy tales..tell her shes the baby(dont tell her in person but in your mind).LOL

Liking fairy tales doesn't make you a baby. Thinking real life is like a fairy tale would make you unrealistic and immature, but that's not being a baby. As long as you know fact from fiction, enjoy your fairy tales!

Not at all. They are fantastic stories of real problems which is why they are so appealing. Whether you realize it or not, you egt lost in the story. The prince, the man you want to come to rescue you from the witch (the evil in the world) might be your desire. Think about it- Prince Charming (your ideal man), Hansel and Grethel (sibling bonds), frog princes (unexpected beauty), fairy godmothers (the forces and people that help you when you cannot help yourself).... the list goes ont. They tap deep into your psyche, as they have for hundreds of years. Men may be too stupid to realize, and women your age may be blinded by arrogance that they are too mature for "baby stuff". Truth is, you see the manifestation of your life or how you want it. How it is presented matters little. Why do you really like them? Just things to think about. Try reading the original fairy tales, then you will see your friends are babies for not being able to stomach it!

No I am 25 and love fairy tales. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Tell your so called friend to go jump in the lake. Your very secure with who you are.

No, you are not a baby! If you are like 30 that's okay because fairy tales are happy and apparently you just like to be happy! And if your friend bothers you again, just tell her that you can like what you like, and if she thinks your immature, then just tell her that I have a friend who is 24 and likes fantasy stuff. It' if the bothering really gets bad, then maybe you should consider a new friend.

Why do you care what she thinks? Fairy tales have stayed alive for hundreds of years, developign and being told. Do you tihnk a "baby" story could have lasted that long? They appeal to human nature.
Fairy tales were written by people, to send messages. Like how men think women should behave, like not to trust strangers in teh woods... They are life lessons and fun to listen to !

Nope. I love cartoons and I'm 38y/o. A lot of my friends call me a big baby to and you know what... I tell them cartoons make me laugh while the news makes me cry. Sometimes the things we like, like fairy tales and cartoons actually help us to deal with life stress better than talking to someone who tells you your crazy. People have different ways and likes and that's the blessing we have been given. Be a baby if you want to I do and you know what else... being the baby I find a lot of my friends usually end up watching toons with me. now,,,
