Christianity is the predominate religion in the US, the friggin country was founded by Christan's and the only people that see Christan's being persecuted are Christan's....
their biggest issue, not that they would EVER admit to it, is that Christianity is NOT as popular as it use to be...

Christianity will always be under attack for the simple reason that it leads to salvation as the devil does not want anyone to be led to God in any form or fashion. Therefore, it has been and will always be under attack. As far as protecting yourself, If you have God in your life, that is all the protection you need.
Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. And this IS NOT a sarcastic answer..

I believe it is being attacked by liberals, yes. As Ann Coulter said on the "Tonight Show", children are baptized in global warming, safe sex, and abortion, but yet you can't have a moment of silence in schools. This question is not only about Christianity, but also about how politics decide it. Good question. I expect to see a lot of comments!

read the tanak, the talmud, the torah, the qaballah, and the assorted apocrypha and realize that modern christianity is a con scam to control peoples minds and make them vote against their better interests. Then do your homework and find out that the deists who founded our country put in the clause about seperation of church and state precisely because they didn't want a batch of christian fascists mucking up our country.
