Wash in Neutrogena T-Gel shampoo. The tar in it helps psoriasis. If your psoriasis is really bad, you may have an underlying infection, which means you should go see the dermatologist and get some antibiotics. They can also prescribe a good steroid cream to treat it. There are many dietary changes you can make to improve psoriasis too.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GO TO TANNING BED. Overexposure to the sun will only make your condition worse. You can do 10 minutes in the MORNING sun and that is it.

I had that condition around my neck when I was in middle school. The only thing that was suggested to me was to wash thoroughly with soap and water and get some ointment (there was over the counter cream I had to apply around my neck) and do this over a period of time.
It would be better if you go to a dermatologist and have him/her determine just how serious your psoriasis is. Then they can give you prescribed medicine or, you can just go purchase it for yourself.
I hope this works for you.
Good luck!

My mom had very severe Psoriasis. She used tar shampoo which helped remove most of what she had on her scalp. I would also say use aloa vera. But not the lotion. Get the plant and cut it and actually use the gel from the plant.

Don't rub chemicals on your body... that's probably half the reason you have this condition in the first place. Get yourself some organic virgin coconut oil. It does wonders with ANY skin condition. Even just mild dry skin. I use it every single day in place of all creams and lotions.... it even got rid of my acne.

Go see a dermatologist ASAP. Different things work for different people- they will probably prescribe you some different creams though, and give you some suggestions. Be EXTREMELY careful with tanning beds!
