Absolutely. Once you tell them to never call you at work, it is a violation of the law for them to do so again. If they do, call your local attorney general's office and report them.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act states that a debt collector cannot call you "at the consumer's place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer's employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication." Inform the debt collector that your boss does not allow personal calls and to refrain from calling your place of work, and they are required to stop. I don't know if it's illegal; but you have a lot of right with your creditors. I you really want to stop debting then I recommend: Debtor's anonymous, or the book How to Get out of Debt Stay out of Debt and Live prosperously.

If you think getting harrassing calls is bad, wait until they freeze your bank account or garnish your wages, etc.

If you file for bankruptcy, they can't call you anymore.

I believe that if you've informed them that you're unable to take calls at work, they have to leave you alone. You may have to send them something in writing.
