Most cell phone companies offer a free long distance, hence why I chucked the idea of having a home phone long ago. I could sit on the phone for hours with my brother who at the time lived out of state (now he lives in another country) and not pay one cent. If your plan is like this, she'll see all those calls, but you guys won't be charged for them. If it isn't, level with her. She'll probably be pretty upset with you for running up a big bill, but tell her you're sorry and you would like to make it up to her by paying off the bill. At 14, you're probably too young to get even a mall job, but you could earn your keep by cleaning the house (no doubt, a giant help to Mom there) or babysitting. It will show her you're responsible enough to own up to your mistakes. As for the boyfriend she doesn't know about, let me ask you this...do you think it's really healthy for you, a 14 year old with no mode of transportation, to have a boyfriend that's not only 17 but also lives so far away that you can't have a real relationship? And how do you know he is the age he says? Maybe he's some 40 year old perv! Gross! Have you even met him in person? It's not so wise to invest so much time (and so much money if your cell plan isn't like mine) on someone you know in such a superficial way (meaning you don't know each other in 3-D). I'd try to meet guys in your area that are around your age and try to forget about this guy. Your mom probably won't like this one bit. If she asks who you were talking to, you really can't lie. My dad would call the numbers I had to make sure that's who I said I was talking to. Fess up now before you get yourself into more hot water that you can't get out of.

Did you ever heard of the story of a girl who got raped and then beated up by the guy she chatted on the internet? He ( your crush) could be, I don't know. Tell your mom the truth, and if you don't, later she's gonna find out and you're gonna be in big trouble. Or maybe, when the bill comes, hide it and when she comes home, lie to her that it didn't come, then tell her that you have a boyfriend on the internet, then the next day give her the bill.
Like this:
" Mom, the bill didn't come yet. Can I talk to you?. Mom, I have a boyfriend a few months now , I've been chatting and talking to him on the phone. I didn't tell you because I was afraid that you are going to be mad, now is the right time for me to tell you, please don't be mad at me"
Then your mom is gonna talk and talk. Then the next day, give her the bill.
In my opinion. I really think you should tell her the truth
Good luck

Tell him ya so!! If he was turned off by it, he would have just ignored you and not teased you about it. Tell him, he'd be an idiot not to know you were crushing on him, and your just sorry it took you writing a note to figure it out. But you gotta say it with a smile and a little sexy attitude. Don't act weird or diffrent....Trust me, he teased you about it, it's ok. Now go ask him what he's gonna do about it, or, I prefer the bold method, and just give him a big ole kiss and get it over with...Good Luck

Best thing to do is come clean with your mother about it now before the cell phone bill arrives. By you bringing it to her and her not finding out later, she may only ground you for a shorter while instead of till you're 18

Just go through life. Drop the bf. You've never even seen him before. When he turns 18 you will be a minor and he will be illegal. When your mom sees the bill go through the punishment. Know that the punishment will end and you can resume your life. Hope I helped!

its probably going to cost a fortune... and why do you talk to ppl online like that-- theres too many pedaphiles out there... you should just talk via "snail mail" if i were you but you need to tell your mom BEFORE she gets the bill. if shes paying the bill she has a right to know the truth.

Are you calling him during peak hours or off-peak hours? If you are calling when minutes are free then you are good, if not; then you got got some explaining to do.
By the way, isn't he too old for you anyways?!
