Leaving Va. traveling to Kansas City! Looking forward to having lots of fun! The roadtrip however is long(1100 miles). Any sugestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

How about as you are driving divide the car into sides....driver side is the left side of road, passenger side is right side of road. Driver side start with A and find a road sign that starts with A, then passenger side do the same....you can't move on till you find your sign. whoever finishes first....wins. Or, starting with A name songs whose titles start with the letter...A is America the Beautiful.....then you have to sing a few bars......next person gets B.....you can do this with Bands also. And finally, my friends favorite is give someone two options......cats or dogs? No rules, no suggestions....whatever the individual brings to the game is what they bring. I might say dog cause i love dogs or i might say dogs because I hate dogs. it gets really crazy the longer you play, sometimes a little naughty and always very funny.

I always like, "Mullet Mullet, Who has a Mullet?" Play for a certain period of time and the loser buys the next tank of gas or a round of desserts at the next meal. Sounds like you are hitting some prime "mullet" territory!
Turn any of the old "kid" games into a "grown up" game by putting food, gas, or drinks on the line (just don't drink while you are driving!)

See who can get the most free food from flirting with the clerks at the fast-food restaurants and gas stations along the way!
Or, make a rule that everytime someone does "something" they put a quarter in the jar...at the end of the trip, the person who put in the least amount wins the jar. (Modify as needed)

Have one person pick something they see that starts with the letter A, then whoever gives the answer, picks the letter B, and so on. Another one we used to do is list all of the license plates from different states we see. Whoever finds the most wins. Who can stay the quietest the longest (always moms favorite LOL)

see who can spot the most car of one color,start a game with "I went to the market n bought some apples,"the next person say "I went to the market n bought some apples n some beats"n so on repeating the previous n adding the following letter of something..start singing some song,take trivia game cards n let some one ask the questions to see who knows what.

It is a take on word association. Something you see on your travels(plant, tree, tags, people ,things, animals,signs, colors)
anything goes. One person says( IT), all the rest have to say something they associate to( IT) Have a wonderful time. We did this once (on an agricultural tour) took pictures, and recorded our voices. Put it all on CD. After unanimous vote the CD was destroyed. But it was soo... much fun!!!

cards. u can play a lot of different games + they are small and easy to carry if u tie them with a rubber band.
