Ortiz ( or should I say "Big Papi" )!!!!

they are both pretty damn good. I know I would take either one and you cant give an edge because of defensive since neither of them ever play the field. Ortiz will hit a lot of homeruns and produce Rbi's but he also has a lot of good people surrounding him and haffner is on a lesser known small market team and he hits for power and still will hit for avg and a lot of basehits. And I hate the red sox so i would have to say Haffner and he is younger.

Both will hit tons of homers, Ortiz will get more RBIs, Hafner will get a better BA. For a fantasy baseball, Ortiz ids better cuz he got Manny infront of him and Varetik after him. While for a realistic MLB team, Hafner is better cuz he has a lower payroll and he's younger and he plays the field a little better than Ortiz.

They are both Solid options, I have them both on my one team, but Ortiz is the better of the 2. They are the top DHs in MLB, but Ortiz is better.
If I were going to build a MLB team, I would take Hafner because of age and potential.

Well if Im stuck choosing between the 2 of them then Im a very happy GM who is going to have one of the best one way or another. Im a die hard Indians fan and love big Pronk but I would still have to vote for Ortiz that man is a clutch hitting machine.

in a keeper leuge i would say hafner but in a win now situation id have to go with ortiz

They are both awesome players, however, I would take Hafner. They will both hit a ton of homers, but Hafner will have the better average between the two of them.
