Vet. Tech is a good career choice. You only have approx. 18 months of school (as opposed to veterinarian) and most programs offer internships in the field so you get hands-on experience.

Hey! I work with baby animals. Im an exotic animal trainer at a local sanctuary. You need to start volunteering first of all. No one gets into the business straight away. Its a lot of brow sweat and sticking to your guns.
Right now Im helping raise an orphaned coyote and raccoon. We have tigers, lions, chimps, leopards, crocs, and more. Its awesome. You just need to start at ground level and work your way up.
Start at a local animal shelter or volunteer at a vets office. They have connections on where else you can go. Or contact any breeders in the area who may need an extra hand helping with the babies.
