just hop on another train using the same ticket? or if i decide to stay overnight can i use the same ticket?or is it set for that time? purchased the tix in germany. i cant read german so....www.bahn.de

It depends on what kind of ticket you bought. Some tickets are good for any train, any time - so you can change your mind any time you want, and take any train you want so long as it follows the itinerary on your ticket.

Other tickets, however that you may have bought as part of a special price promotion or deal, are linked to specific trains. So if you change trains, you have to pay a penalty fee.

To be sure, take your ticket to ANY train station, the people at the counter can tell you what type it is, and if it is flexible or not.
