sevin is a good dusting powder for tomatoes, but if you want to go all natural, try putting liquid dish soap 1 squirt and fill the bottle, and it will do the same thing.

The best way to control bugs from plants is to treat the soil before you plant anything- i believe in Biological control and will only use chemicals unless i absolutly exhasted everything. Never plant your vegetbles in the same space (rotating crops) I always find out about the soil every year by sending it off to an extention school- here are some of the controls i used in the past , praying mantis who will eat anything, lacewings good for tomatos, lady bugs good for aphids and mealy bugs, diamateous earth excellent for controlling pest, beneficial mematodes using some of these in combination might keep the pests of your tomatos

if it is the Tomato Horn Worm you are targeting, the best way is to hand pick them. If is it cut worms that come up from the soil at night - you could place a collar ( card board, tin can etc ) around the base if the plant, half in the soil and half above, this will protect the stem and prevent "visitors".

Many nurseries has solutions for you, but I think it also depends on the plants and what type of bugs your trying to get rid of. There are difference simple solutions that can be found to control bugs. Try going to home and garden tv's website and they have many ideas for your garden.

I use rotenone which is a natural insecticide. With tomatos, the only pest I encounter is the tomato worm and they can just be picked off and stomped.

there's special sprays, and dusts that you put on or around your plants.. and it keeps bugs off.. or you can try using a spray bottle with just water and soap.. just spray it on.. it worked for my roses, but i don't know if it'll work for your tomato..but you should try the other products.
