It depends on the brand but generally speaking it's made out of everything on a cow or pig you wouldn't eat if it didn't look like a hot dog.

Depending on the brand and type of Hot Dogs you buy, they are made from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, buffalo or soy. Some have any combination of the previous ingredients. Most pre-packaged dogs have the meat squeezed into an edible casing but Sabret and other authentic Hot Dog makers still use natural intestines to hold the meat. Other than that , a few sulfides and phosphates for preservatives and thats it.

If you seriously want to know without all the dumb answers you will probably get on here, read the package they come in or go to a search and put in the question. It never fails,it will take you to many sites that can tell you.But in all serious, they are made of multi things.Like beef hotdogs,or beef, pork and chicken,or just chicken hotdogs. There are even turkey hotdogs. you can even find tofu hotdogs. Now I have no clue what they are made out of,but the others are either made out of cows(beef),turkey, chicken, pork(pig). I really don't eat hotdogs, but those are the basics. Now what are the other little small ingredients that give it extra taste,I don't know. But the red hotdogs are artifically colored with red food dye.Happy eating!!

lol, reminds me of The Simpsons when Lisa turned vegitarian. Then she thought of all the meat pieces falling from an animal and when she thought of hot dogs, there were like animal feet and a bit of a boot lol.

I wonder what is in IKEA hot dogs to make them so cheap...

Statistically speaking, I'm sure SOMEONE was brave enough to ask this question.

Supposedly 100% beef or pork, but I'm not sure--I mean, the guts, brains, and other assorted body parts ARE natural parts of the animal, so, if you want to get TECHNICAL about it, hot dogs ARE 100% beef or pork

It depends. Some are made from Beef, some Pork, and some even Chicken. Some are a mixture of one or more of those meats. If you read the package, it will tell you. The cheapest ones are usually pork, the most expensive are usually Beef.
