Try in increasing order of nastiness:
1. Hot water, soap, and an old toothbrush
2. Hairspray
3. Rubbing alcohol
4. "Goof Off" or "Oops". (I like to use this with Softsoap)
Don't use acetone. It is murder on skin and tissue.
