Once saw a guy digging worms with a knitting needle connected to the electricity supply from his house...he just stuck it into the ground like a probe and stood well back...the worms were popping up all around...amazing!! (but not very kiddie friendly...)

Only god knows. Im no competition since i have never dug for worms in my life...that i know of...

We feed them to our newts and they dig them as well as other things like woodlice, silverfish etc
