Yes it is. If you have Yahoo! Messenger and are signed in, then you will be notified by a popup at the bottom right hand corner of ur screen as well with a sound.

Yes, install Yahoo! Messenger it will do this for you. Just don't install the Y! Toolbar. I hate toolbars like Yahoo and Google as they needlessly take up screen realestate.

If you have yahoo messenger, log onto it, and every time you get a new email it notifies you.

You get that automatically in Yahoo! Messenger but you have to be signed in.

yes, but just on yahoo messenger when you get mail you would see it where the time is, then you click on it then it asks you if you want to be signed in automaticly clcik yes or no ok

yes it is... if you have messenger, you need to be logged into it, and it alerts you when you get email
