How do you get paste from outdoor carpeting?

When installing carpeting on my porch , paste got on the top side. Is there anyway to remove that

What kind of paste?
Do you mean Glue?
There is a product sold at Lowes and Home Depot called "Goof Off" .....the Ultimate remover... This product is usually located in their paint dept.
