Hit the 'F11' key. Should help. it's a full screen/regular screen mode change key. Handy for playing games.

I am assuming you mean you lost the toolbar that has the icons in the Internet Explorer...

If this is the case you can bring it back by selecting "Toolbars" from the "View" menu. Select the "Standard" toolbar. This should return the toolbar.

You can also add and remove buttons from a toolbar by clicking on the toolbar with the right mouse button, and selecting "customize".

On the menu bar (at the top of your browser) click "View", then in the "Toolbars" submenu, choose "Standard buttons", and all those buttons (back, forward, return, refresh, home, etc) should show up again.
This assumes you're using Internet Explorer. If you're using Mozilla Firefox, the procedure is the same, except you'll see "Navigation Toolbar" instead of "Standard Buttons", and you click that one.

Hope this helps

Right click on an empty gray part of the IE window (right below the blue one where the name of the page is written, the layer where the menus are on) and click Standard buttons.
