Prepare for hot and muggy! I thought the very best part of my trip there, not being a golfer, was a small motorcoach tour of the historical parts of the island. It took you through the different plantation areas, former slave graveyards, told of haunted history, the fishing industry past, and was very, very interesting. I'm sure your hotel will be able to arrange for this tour-you will very much enjoy it!

You have to do this if you do nothing else. I just went in the beginning of June. It was awesome.

If you get over to Myrtle Beach you MUST go to dinner at "***** Restaurant" Its just TOOOOOOooooo much fun.
