i have some really bad dents in my car, its kind of hard to explain what they look like but they are pretty bad....i think i can get behind them inside the car and push them out, but ive been told that if i do that theer are still going to be smaller dents there. One of my friends said that i could purchase some kind of covering for the dent that sort of just fills the dent and then paint over that, i forget what its called though. Any ideas?

You can use long strand fibreglass, sand it down, then use finishing putty on top (because fiberglass is pretty rough).
Buy an aerosol can of matching paint and voila!

You can buy this tool that suctions to the dent and trys to reverse it. If that doesn't work because the dents are "badass", then you might have to drill a hole in the middle of the dent & pound it out, which is a whole lot cheaper to fill the tiny hole then get the whole body worked on.

If they are not too big you may want to try Dry Ice. It shrinks the metal and sometimes it will go back to the original shape it formed in. Otherwise you will likely not do as nice of a job as pro-with body work. They spend a lot of time trained prepping and working on dents. That's why they charge so much.

if they are lg dents and not in a body line a strong suction cup will lessen the apperance, smaller dents requires a dent puller(slide hammer with a screw on the end)but this leaves holes that have to be spot puttied, bondoed,or fiberglassed then sanded, primered, wet sanded then painted if you can match the color (which is a whole new beast)

Dent Filler = Bondo

Pushing them out from behind won't work, you push out everything BUT the dent in most cases.

Depending on the year of the car and the extent of the damage. I would check into a salvage yard and just replace the panels and get it repainted.
