Food is basic to life. I don't believe it should be in a compeditave industry. A healthy nation will be able to think better, greedy people will die quicker. If you take too much home the rats will get you.

It's a nice idea,but someone has to be paid for doing the work involved in growing it.

if the basics were free, ther would be very little demand for any other type of food. which would drive the prices up extremely high, and you'd have to pay 100 bucks for a burger. plus, notheng is free. not when some one knows they can make a buck off it.

nice idea but nothing is for free , never has been never will be try growing your own but as I said nothing is for free you might get a bad back with all that raking or digging and the rats have a life to

who will provide the food? It takes money and resources to produce food - nobody would do it
