Use a pumice stone in the bath to gently slough off the hardened skin, dry thoroughly and rub in some moisturizer. Check out your drugstore for specialized products for the feet, like Dr.Scholl's.

One of the best ways to rid yourself of hard skin is to go for a long walk barefooted across a sandy beach. The grains in the sand act as an exfoliate and it rubs away all the roughness.
If you don't have a beach near you, there are things called pumice stones. They are basically sand paper for feet! You should be able to buy these at any chemist. Wet your feet and then just rub the stone over the rough skin to smooth it out.
There is a new product on the market I saw advertised today by Scholl. Not sure where you can get it yet as I only saw it today but I am going to buy that and give it a go.

Visit your local beauty supply store. Sally's Beauty usuall has the best selection. Try a product called Callus away or Callus remover. Put this on the area and use a pedi wand to remove dry rough skin. In the shower take like 5 min. Make sure to use a good lotion after.

Soak your feet in warm water to soften thick skin. Scrub them with a product designed to exfoliate (Rosemary Mint Bliss Pedicure Set). Rinse, use a foot file if necessary. Follow with an emollient cream.
Do this at night and sleep in white cotton socks if you can. I also have customers who use the Satin Hands Pampering Set on their feet.

The best thing is Aquaphor ointment by Lucerine. You can find it in any pharmacy,
I work for a Dermatologist and use the product my self
I put it on every nite and put socks on for a half hour. Use it in the am when you get dressed if you wear socks.
Try it you will like it.

I use a product called Kerasal which you can buy at Walmart or Target. It softens your heels. You will still need to use a pumice stone once in a while but this stuff works miracles! Try it.
