Ok, in a way I feel sorry for you because you did not know but on the other hand you should have know not to be doing drugs in the first place. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but oh well. I really hope that your baby is ok. The chances are going to be very slim because babies develope alot in the first few months. Please take care of yourself and your baby when he\she is born and please don't go back to drugs after your baby is born. I am hoping for the best for you and your little one.

Unlike these other beotch's. I am not going to curse you or tell you how bad you've done. B/c you have probably been cussing yourself up one side and back down the other. I know I would. My best friend last year for her boyfriends b-day done an ounce of coc between three of us and at that time she was 2 weeks pregnant and didn't know it. She also smoked ciggerates and those left hand cigs. I b*tched at her every day for smoking as heavily as she was. As for the other stuff, she was worried enough for both of us. After the long wait and many many tests, she had a beautiful baby boy. When he was born he was healthy. But you could see the color of his skin was lighter and blotched more than what most newborns are. Now he is 8 months old and as much as I love my god baby, he is the whinist thing ever. He is spoiled rotten now and he crys constetly, Even though I love them both, I still do not agree with the way she took care of herself, it was her body though. The best thing you can do is stop everything, especially the cocaine and keep your doctors appointments. Maybe even mention something to you dr. about it. I'm sure your baby will be fine. I'm not going to say he/she will be a perfect angel. But unless you drink or do your thing everyday, then you should have a pretty healthy baby. I hope so anyways. Good Luck!

I don't think that at this early stage it will affect the baby, but it's smart that you've stopped, and just don't do it anymore until after the baby. I'm sure the baby will be fine as long as you STOP! I did some use of some stuff while I was prego before I found out, I was 2 1/2 months though, but after I knew I was going to have the baby then I stopped everything.
Tell your doctor about it, he/she should be able to tell you more accurately if there's anything to worry about.
Good luck!
I can't believe how judgemental these people are. Shut the F**K up and offer advice and/or support and stop acting like you're perfect and live in a perfect world.

OK....call your doctor asap but to give you some hope.....I am a recovering drug addict. I've been clean for 3 years. Luckily, I didn't have any children when I was using but many of my friends did. I want to give you props for stopping as soon as you found out....it's soooo hard....but atleast you won't have the guilt of knowing you are pregnant and using anyway. Anyway, I know of a few of the kids that came out healthy, beautiful babies. I even know someone who used during her entire pregnancy and has a beautiful 5 year who helped her to see that she needed to straighten up her act. There is hope.....Just call your doctor and be very honest. Don't let these haters on here bother you....keep your head up. You are doing the best you can under the circumstances.....Just be a good mother from this point on! I am pregnant now and luckily don't have to worry about the drug abuse factor. It's rough going through the emotions...I can't imagine the psychological withdrawal from drugs and the crazy pregnancy hormones at the same time......you must be a very strong chick.....stay strong and good luck......and remember everything happens for a reason!

The most damage that can be done to a fetus will be done in the first trimester, so if you have been drinking and using cocaine all of this time, your baby is likely already affected. However, it is definitely a good thing that you have quit now, even though you are already so far along. You should also probably seek professional help for drug addiction, if you haven't already.
You need to go see an OBGYN immediately, and be COMPLETELY honest with her/him about your drug usage during your first 4 1/2 months so that she/he can tell you what exactly to expect and exactly what you need to do.

Good grief...this baby obviously wants to live! What you've done to your body and your unborn baby's body is unacceptable. HOWEVER, if you truly have quit and are going to stay quit, I'll pray that you have a happy, healthy baby.
Please, don't ever go back to that. If you're associating with people who drink and use drugs a lot, don't raise your baby around them. What kind of life is that for her?
As to your question...I don't know. You used birth control, took the morning after pill, and managed not to miscarry during your first trimester, I'd say you have a fighter on your hands. :) We all make mistakes, but we can also all correct them. I'm hoping and praying that you get excellent pre-natal care and have a HEALTHY baby.

You are a stupid, stupid woman. If the condom broke and you took the morning after pill, you should have been more alert to the fact that you were possibly pregnant. Obviously, you didn't care. Go to the doctor now and get tests. If you baby is healthy, give it up for adoption because so far you have been a really rotten mother and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Well, obviously your baby could have suffered serious consequences. I admire you for making the right choice to stop your drug/alcohol use as soon as you found out. Forgive these people for being so hard on you, for you did not know. Fortunately, drug use causes the most harm during the last half of the pregnancy, so in all actuality, your baby could be pretty healthy. You need to drink lots of water during the remainder of your pregnancy, as cocaine stays in the bloodstream for up to a year. And if you can, please tell your doctor. You will not be punished because you did not know you were pregnant. And if you belive, pray to God for his blessing. May God Bless you for trying to make things right. You may have found this out just in time.

The best advice is to tell all that to a doctor, and go to every check up. There may be a chance your baby is fine. Also make sure you've got some support. I wish you the best of luck in this. Just remember everyone makes mistakes, and those who will try to be judgemental shouldn't matter to you right now. Deal with the big problem of finding out whether or not the baby is going to need treatment of any sort.

I knew a girl that did Meth her whole pregnancy. They baby was fine except a little slow. They did end up taking it away from her. When you go to the Dr. you need to be honest about what you have done and what you have taken. If you are worried about getting in trouble, don't be. The only way you will get in trouble with the law now is if you continue the use of drugs. Do expect routine drug test from the Dr. when you go in for visits. You do however need to tell them so they will know what they need to do to help you and the baby. Good Luck
