whats the differench anyways? between official and primary

It is official. Has been for centuries, actually. It won out by only one vote over the proposal that we speak German. Can you see how history might have been different if we didn't have this as our official language?

And if Ben Franklin had his way, our national bird would have been the turkey. Yikes!

They can make it official. Contact your representatives and tell them you want English to be made the official language of the U.S. Everyone should do that.

Primary just means that it is the language most people speak here.

I agree, living in a border city and working for a government agency it is a pain having to translate from English to Spanish.

Should be, but Americand speak so badly. Lack of decent Queens English training.
