Well, the name is truly unique! I think that you shouldn't worry about what "the mothers" think (or anyone else for that matter)! If you and your husband like it, then it's beautiful...I'm sure that your precious daughter will grow up and be independent, and truly individual. Kudos to you for thinking "outside the box"!

The spelling might cause her some problems. People will want to pronounce it Roe-Mine and stuff like that maybe. But I think it's a nice name. It has a pleasant sound and there won't be three of her in her kindergarten class. I have an unusual name and I have always been glad. Well, almost always.

I actually knew a guy in college named Roman. It fit him well.
Unique is great, but it can be a pain too. You might want to consider calling her by her middle name (or even part of it). A child needs a healthy self-esteem to overcome "unique" sometimes!
It is your child, though, so give it a lot of thought, but go with what you want to do.

I have always wanted to name my child Roman if it was a boy..I've never really thought of using it for a girl. I think her name is very pretty, but I would have spelled Rhomynn differently. Her name is already going to be different, there's no need to spell it different too. I would have gone with Roman or Romyn.

No, people won't be able to pronounce it. I have an unusual name and I honestly hate it. I am an adult now and I have never learned to accept it. My sisters and brother have normal names and I resent that I (middle child) got stuck with this weirdo name. Every time I meet new people, it is an ordeal and I am sick of it.

It's a little too contrived for my liking. I feel sorry for her when she gets older and has to spell it for people (over the phone, etc.). My maiden name was Brent, and people couldn't even get THAT right. How badly do you think they're going to butcher Rhomynn Mari-Rosa?

I think it is just fine! It's YOUR baby, not theirs...they'll get over it...I think the most important thing is that you have a name that fits your baby....it is a strong name - hopefully she is a tough cookie! If you have a really girlie, girl, you may have to call her something more feminine, like Romy for a nickname...but, if she is a tomboy, or just not so frilly, I think it will suit her great!

I like the Rhomynn part a lot. Different names are the best.
