When I attempt to burn audio CDs, any program I use says the blank CD-R is already full. I have tried using a bunch of different CDs, and the CDs I am using works on other computers. It worked fine until recently, not sure what happened. Any ideas?

Often this kind of thing is caused by the CD drive's drivers being fouled up. My suggestion is to open up the Device Manager, find the CD Drive, and choose the option to uninstall it. Then re-boot. Once the pc reboots, Windows should find the drive as "new hardware", and re-install the drivers for it. Then try burning another blank CD. If that CD is truly blank, and the drive still won't burn to it, then it looks like you'll need to get a new drive to replace it....and you might as well purchase a DVD +- RW drive while you're at it...they're not much more expensive than a regular CD drive at this point. Good luck.

Check with the people who would normally check your computer (or wherever you are trying to burn CDs).

If you've already recorded even just 1 song on the CD, it will not record anything more on that CD.

could be that the CD drive is "dying" per say - it can read CDs, but not write to them, so it might think that it is full. i had this problem a little while ago, then my CD drive stopped reading CDs - had to get a new one.
