According to 'The Da Vinci Code', the Holy Grail is actually Mary Magdalene, the person who was pregnant with Jesus's son for nine months before giving birth to him. The Holy Grail was actually a metaphor for a woman's womb, or in this case, Mary Magdalene's womb. When you think about it, a womb is actually shaped like a chalice, a cup, a V, a thing that is suppose to carry or hold something, a grail.. thus the Holy Grail.

Well the Holy Grail is the cup that Jesus drank from at the last supper. But it's also a Monty Python movie which should be seen by everyone.
