depending where you want to go you will have to go to a different station
for light rail around dublin(dart and luas) and rail services to dundalk and belfast go to connolly

for most other destinations: kildare, galway, cork, limerick etc you need to go to Heuston station which is further up the quays from connolly but still along the river. Its a half hour walk(ish) from connolly station but the 747 or 748 should drop you there also. Or you can catch a shuttle bus from busaras or aston quay to the station.

The closest station to the airport would be one of the northside stations malahide or pormarnock but its easier to go into the city centre by bus.

The buses all pull up right outside arrivlas and the drivers are usually pretty helpful with directions.

Actually, the bus to get straight to the station is the 748, which goes to Connolly Station. The 747 goes to Busárás, the Central Bus Station.

To where from where?
I find the bus 747 (i think)
or the aircoach (blue bus) the easiest to get out of Dublin airport to the city centre. Ask any of the bus drivers outside arrivals and they will help. Happy travels.

FYI:The lightrail is called the DART. Look for those in Dublin City. There is no train from the airport.

Assuming your flight does not get not on time, you ought to be waiting to get to Heuston around 12, offering you with sufficient time to purchase or assemble your practice tickets and board your practice. (do no longer wait interior the main significant section, you could often board the practice approximately 20 minutes formerly the departure time and it truly is the main suitable ingredient to do in case you do not have pre-booked seats). And in case your flight is not on time, there is probable a minimum of another practice on your trip spot except it truly is an truly distant area. have relaxing!
