No, it is not illogical for people to argue with you. It is more illogical that a dog would argue with you. Illogical is defined as "Without logic; senseless." So, people arguing with you is not senseless, but I think a dog arguing with you would be because, unless you have decoded the language of dog, you probably cannot understand them.

What can I say? I try.

Haha, I finally understand what you meant to say by seeing the answer above. But now that I get it, it is logical for people to argue with you if they are on your side.
