Simply get up for stretch breaks. Walk around the area. get enough sleep for starters. Eat breakfast, have a small healthy snack, eat a small to medium sized lunch. Dont overdo it on the caffeine because when it wears off then that makes you sleepy. Above all what helps me is a chocolate a day!!!!

First, get a good night's sleep. Nothing helps more than that! Have a cup of coffee or tea to perk you up first thing when you get to work. Don't eat a heavy lunch. Nothing gives you the snoozies like pasta, french fries, or any other dish heavy in carbohydrates. Take a walk after lunch if you have time. Get some fresh air in your lungs. Get up from your chair and take a brief walk to the restroom or just stretch your legs once every hour.

Things you can do to stay awake would be drinking coffee with extra expresso shots or soda, pinch yourself, get lots of sleep the day before, and dont eat a lot during lunch time (makes you extra lazy).

I usually find something on the internet real quick or use instant messenger and talk to my friends just so they could make me laugh. Its really funny. I think laughing will wake anyone up. Try and go outside for a couple minutes or walk around your office more. Maybe that'll help.

Plenty of coffee, and chat with coworkers about the projects they are working on. When all else fails, answer questions on line.

Get more sleep at night.
Stay hydrated with water.
Don't eat heavy/big lunches.
Eat fruits, veggies and protein snacks, such as peanut butter, protein bars, cheese, lean meats, yogurt, etc.
Limit your sugars and carbs.
Take a break from your desk... get up and active. Good circulation will perk you up. Move around!
If possible get some fresh air and walk as much as possible.

I get up and walk around a lot, get a drink, talk to co-workers...all while looking busy of course!
If your job is so boring, you should look for something more fun and interesting.

Concentrate on your work. If you do it sincerely and with full attention, you should not have a problem dozing off. A person usually dozes off when he or she does not have ENOUGH work. I do not think it has anything to do with how interesting the work is.

Otherwise, try drinking black coffee!
